Craig A. Susalka
Head PGA Professional
Craig A Susalka was born in Nashua NH one of 9 children.
He holds an Associates Degree in Business Management. from
University of Lowell in Lowell, MA. Craig started playing
golf at age 22 and his first job as Head PGA Professional was
with Passaconaway Country Club in Litchfield, NH. He moved to
the Philadelphia area in 1992 and spent 14 years as the Head
Pro at Springfield Country Club. His career low
score of 63, also the the current course record, is on that
course. Best tournament performances includes a tie for first
in the Doylestown Open in 2005, a tournament round at Applebrook
in which he made 9 birdies and a tournament round of 66 (1 shot
away from the course record) at Scotland Run in the Pro/Assistant
in 1999. Craig currently has 3 Holes-in-one to his credit, the
most recent being hole #3 at Edgmont Country Club in 2009. Craig
became the Head PGA Professional at Edgmont in 2011. Craig
is the father of two college age daughters.
Jeffery Herb
1st Assistant Professional
Jeffrey Herb was born in Reading , PA. He is married to wife Shanna, and has 1 stepson Michael. Jeffrey graduated from Conrad Weiser H.S. in '97. He played for Albright College for one year where he had the lowest scoring average on the team. Jeffrey started his career in the golf industry at Galen Hall CC, Wernersville , PA as a cart attendant and on the grounds crew. He also worked at Myrtle Beach National, SC, before moving back to PA and joining the Edgmont CC Staff in '01. Jeffrey is currently working on getting his class A card from the PGA. He has no Hole-In-Ones yet, but does have 2 double eagles to his credit, most recently in 2011 on #5 at Inniscrone GC.
Michael Spigarelli
Assistant Professional
Michael Spigarelli was born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and is the son of Dominic Spigarelli and Pamela Weber. He attended grade school at St. Mary Magdalen's and is a graduate of West Chester East High School. During high school, Michael worked at Edgmont County Club where he was first introduced to the sport of golf by his father and the golf professionals at the club: Al Balukas and Tony Perla. After high school, Michael attended the Professional Golf Management program at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Marketing. During his time at NMSU Michael interned at Penn Oaks Golf Club in Thornton, PA, Sand Barrens Golf Club in Swainton, NJ, and Blackwolf Run/Whistling Straits in Kohler, WI. After graduation Michael worked at Beechtree Golf Club in Aberdeen, MD for 3 years and then onto New Jersey where he worked at Colonia Country Club and Canoe Brook Country Club for the past 6 seasons. In April 2011, Michael graduated the PGA's PGM program is now a Class “A” PGA Professional. |
