Edgmont Country Club, established
in 1963, is a private non-equity 18 hole golf club located on the northern boarder of
Delaware County and Chester County, PA. In addition
to a challenging golf course Edgmont offers: a
large practice facility, a Pro Shop
staffed by PGA Professionals and several
membership options.
A friendly active membership and their guests enjoy majestic views
of the 2600 acre Ridley Creek State Park - which borders the property
on two sides - while playing a great
tree lined course with water in
play on several holes and changes in elevation throughout.
Edgmont
Country Club is centrally located just west of Newtown Square, PA on
West Chester Pike
(RT. 3) between Media, Malvern and West Chester
on the border between Delaware County and Chester County Pennsylvania.
The Banquet
Facilities,
which are open for events to both members and non members, can handle
special events, such as: golf outings, weddings, venues for wedding
receptions, banquets, charity auctions and other parties from 10-200
people. All rooms offer views of the golf course and the park and
the grounds are a perfect backdrop for photos. A restaurant and
bar for members are located within the early American Clubhouse which
dates from the 1790s.
The Roof Top, built in 1997, is a 200 seat
banquet facility with 11 foot ceilings and large arched ceiling
windows with views of the course and the park. The Roof Top is the
ultimate experience perfect for: a golf outing, wedding reception,
business meetings, charity auction, alumni reunion or other special
events.
